Island Hopping

One of the must-do things while on Samal is to go island-hopping. Samal, whose official name is Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS), is actually comprised of Samal island and the smaller Talikud island. The Samal Island Hopping Tour by Hof Gorei includes stops at the following sites:

  • CORAL GARDEN in the 150-hectare Marine Reservation Park at Talikud Island. Cruise will stop here for snorkeling.
  • BABU SANTA is a private resort with unspoiled pristine beach, blessed with lush vegetation, and canopied by century old coconut palms that line on the beach up to the hillside of the resort. Cruise will stop here for swimming and for picnic lunch to be served by your butler.
  • ANGELS COVE is roughly 15 minutes boat ride away from Babu Santa. Generally calm and with very mild current and water visibility reaching to 20 meters, this is the absolute site to see large tunas, mackerels, and jack fish swarming the area. However, only certified advanced divers are recommended to dive there as the depth reaches to 50 meters.

The cruise runs approximately 5 hours on board Hof Gorei’s beach resort’s private boat. Your butler will serve as your tour guide and assist you during the activity. Guests will enjoy free use of life vest and snorkeling gear.
